Punches are queued on the phone when signal is weak and sent once when service comes back. No lost clock-ins from a dead zone.
GPS and geofence, so you can prove they were on site
Every clock-in and clock-out records the punch location. Draw a geofence around each job site. Off-site punches are flagged for the supervisor, or refused when the site is set to Block (refuses off-site punches), which needs phone GPS turned on.
Hours coded to the right job
Pick a job or cost code at clock-in, or switch jobs mid-shift without clocking out. The code follows the hours to the timesheet and the payroll export.
Forgot to clock out? It goes to a supervisor.
Employees send a missed-punch request instead of calling the office. The supervisor approves, edits the time, or denies it. Employees never edit their own punches.

Questions people ask
Can employees change their own time?
No. Employees can't edit their own punches. If someone misses a punch, they send a request to their supervisor, and the supervisor approves the timesheet before payroll. Supervisors can't approve their own time; their requests go to an admin.
Do employees download an app?
No. GlobePunch runs in the browser on any phone, tablet, or shop computer. It can sit on the home screen. Nothing goes through an app store.
Does it work without cell signal?
Yes. The punch is saved on the phone and sent once when service comes back. The original tap time is kept. No lost clock-ins from a dead zone.
Do you track people all day?
No. Location is recorded when someone clocks in or clocks out. Not between punches. Not off duty.
