GPS time clock · Field crews, shops, and local government

Clock in on site. Approve the timesheet. Export payroll.

GlobePunch is a GPS time clock for field crews, shops, and local government. Employees clock in from their phone. Location is recorded when they punch. Hours go to a timesheet the supervisor can approve and payroll can export.

What you get on day one

An employee time clock that works in the field, a timesheet a supervisor can sign off on, and a payroll export your clerk or bookkeeper can use.

Clock in from the jobsite or the yard

Punches are queued on the phone when signal is weak and sent once when service comes back. No lost clock-ins from a dead zone.

GPS and geofence, so you can prove they were on site

Every punch records coordinates and a street address. Draw a geofence around each job site and choose whether off-site punches are flagged or blocked.

Hours coded to a job or department

Pick a job or cost code at clock-in, or switch jobs mid-shift without clocking out. The code follows the hours to the timesheet and the payroll export.

Forgot to clock out? It goes to a supervisor.

Employees send a missed-punch request instead of calling the office. The supervisor approves, edits the time, or denies it. Employees never edit their own punches.

Regular and overtime hours, split for you

Weekly overtime after 40, with optional daily overtime after 8. Regular and overtime show on the timesheet and in separate CSV columns.

Simple enough for a roads crew and a payroll clerk

Employees see one big clock-in button. Supervisors see their people. Payroll sees hours and codes. No training week.

Questions people ask

Is GlobePunch the same as CloudPunch?

No. GlobePunch (globepunch.com) is a GPS time clock for field crews, shops, and local government. It is not CloudPunch, Buddy Punch, or Geo Punch.

Do employees download an app?

No. GlobePunch runs in the browser on any phone, tablet, or shop computer. It can sit on the home screen. Nothing goes through an app store.

Does it work without cell signal?

Yes. The punch is saved on the phone and sent once when service comes back. The original tap time is kept. No lost clock-ins from a dead zone.

Do you track people all day?

No. Location is recorded when someone clocks in or clocks out. Not between punches. Not off duty.

Supervisor approval before payroll

Supervisors review time and attendance for their own people, fix what needs fixing, and approve the period. Every change is written to an audit trail.

Payroll export you can hand off

CSV by pay period or date range with employee number, hours, regular and overtime, and the payroll code — ready for your payroll interface or QuickBooks.

Leave and time off in the same place

Employees request time off from the phone. Supervisors approve it. Vacation, sick, holiday, and unpaid leave land on the same timesheet as worked hours.
