Road crews, shops, utilities, remote staff, and local government. Mobile clock-in with geolocation, supervisor approval, overtime, leave, and a payroll export — no time clock hardware to buy.
The phone records GPS coordinates and a street address on every clock in and clock out. If location is turned off or unavailable, the punch falls back to IP geolocation so you still know roughly where it came from.
Draw a radius around each job site on a map and pick how strict it is: off, warn, or block. Off-site punches are flagged with the distance from the nearest site, so a supervisor can follow up the same day.
Each punch carries a unique key and waits on the phone when the network drops. When service comes back it lands once — no duplicates, no lost clock-ins from the far end of the service area.
Admins build their own list of jobs and payroll codes. Require or allow a code at clock-in, switch jobs mid-shift without clocking out, and the code follows the hours to the timesheet and the export.
Forgot to clock out? The employee sends a correction request with the date, the type, and the time they meant. The supervisor approves it, edits the time first, or denies it. Employees never edit their own punches.
Turn on weekly overtime after 40 hours, and daily overtime after 8 if you need it. Regular and overtime hours are split on the timesheet and in the export, using approved punches only.
Supervisors review time and attendance for their own department or team, fix problems, and approve the period. Admins can approve for the whole organization.
Export approved timesheets for a pay period or any date range. Each row carries employee number, name, email, clock in and clock out, regular and overtime hours, and the payroll code — a clean payroll interface for your processor or QuickBooks.
Employees request vacation, sick, holiday, or unpaid leave from the phone and supervisors approve it. Set pay periods with any start and end date, then lock a period once payroll has run.
Every punch added, edited, or deleted is recorded with who did it, when, the values before and after, and the reason given. If someone asks why a timesheet changed, you have the answer.
Four roles per organization: admin, supervisor, payroll, and employee. Supervisors only see and edit their own people. Employees only see their own hours.
GlobePunch runs in the browser on phones, tablets, shop computers, and desktops, and installs to the home screen with one tap. Nothing to push through IT or an app store.
Employees can save a passkey on their own phone for fast face or fingerprint sign-in, and admins can require two-factor sign-in for whichever roles they choose.
Call them departments or teams, job sites or buildings — use the words your organization already uses. A short setup wizard walks a new admin through locations, groups, and the first invites.
One account can belong to several organizations. Switch between them from the sidebar without signing out. Useful for shared services and management companies.
Every record is tagged with an organization and enforced in the database itself. One organization's hours never show up in another's timesheets, reports, or audit trail.
A live roster shows who is clocked in and how long their shift has run, plus a notice when timesheets are waiting on approval.
